Tavistock Carpets - Darren Bulley
The challenge:
After two directors of Tavistock Carpets retired, their long-established leadership had become unstructured. They were constantly fire-fighting instead of planning for the future and their systems were not running smoothly while staff culture had become stressful.
The solution:
The managing director, Darren Bulley, started working with our team at TNBC and we were able to break down some deep-rooted behaviour and improve the dynamic between the business owners and the rest of their team. This started to pay off quickly with a new motivation and focus on driving forward and the business started to run more smoothly which was a more enjoyable experience for the owners.
During one of our brainstorming meetings, we identified a poor performing area of the business. Katie was brought in to help plan and execute a complete relaunch. Her exceptional organisational skills were used to plan marketing campaigns, identify and contact potential new customers and host an open day event. This resulted in this area of the business to start to thrive increasing the turnover within a short time frame.
The conclusion:
In recent months, our team at TNBC have helped Tavistock Carpets really focus on key areas of their business which in turn has enabled them to grow into new markets. Regular meetings help them with accountability and ensure that ideas and new concepts are followed through.
